Spring Favors

Eco-chic Wedding Favors – Love is Blooming All Around

The first thing I think about when I hear the word “spring” is blooming flowers. If your wedding theme is a floral one - daffodils, lilacs, & hyacinths are popular choices – consider using our new Seed Bombs, Seeded Matchsticks, or our Bucket of love seeded favors as a thank you to those who came out to celebrate with you. If they take them home and plant them, the resulting flowers will remind them of your special day long after your final dance. Melissa’s note: Remember to keep your wedding flowers as local as possible to cut down on your wedding’s carbon emissions and consider using potted plants for décor which can be replanted after your big day.

Dragonflies and butterflies are also popular spring wedding icons. Use our Divine Twine and butterfly and dragonfly plantable favors as guest favors & to make a Brilliantly GreenTM garland in your wedding colors which can be planted after the wedding. You could also give your guests a sweet reminder of your big day by handing out these whimsical butterfly & dragonfly cookies.

Eco-chic Wedding Favors - Bamboo-tiful Farm-to-table Fixings

If you have decided on farm-to-table or 100-mile type of wedding – (tasty & locally sourced in-season foods and wines, beers and spirits), consider sending your guests home from your locally sourced shindig with ingredients to do a farm-to-table meal at home. Take our Savor Every Moment favor or herb seed bombs and combine them with this beautiful Bamboo cheese board or salad server set. Add a recipe card idea for their herbs and voila! They have the beginnings of a great locally made feast. =o)

I’ve enjoyed tiptoeing through the spring wedding tulips with you! I hope these suggestions have sparked some eco-chic inspiration in you!
